I want to share with you that a few weeks ago I attended the Fort Lauderdale Coin Club. This club has an outstanding trajectory. It was established in 1956.

I joined the Fort Lauderdale Coin Club. I am in the process of deciding about my collection. In just a couple of weeks I have been learning about the history, American and international coins, the Mint which is where the coins are made.

I have been a Stamp Collector till my career required all my attention and I had to stop it till I could resume it. I was a Jury Member for Youth Stamps Collections and the Editor of the Stamp Magazine of the Stamp Club in Caracas, Venezuela. I turned the small pamphlet into a monthly magazine and obtained a Bronze Medal. My stamp collection was aimed to call the attention towards the protection of the cetaceans: whales and dolphins as well as the protection and preservation of the oceans.

At the Fort Lauderdale Coin Club, I have attended two meetings and their short Education Programs have been very interesting.

The meetings are twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month in the evenings. The Coin Shows take place on the second Sundays of each month at the Volunteer Park Center 12050 W Sunrise Blvd Plantation FL 33323 https://www.ftlauderdalecoinclub.com/
